      Delma F. Forsyth, age 93, died peacefully in her Midvale, Utah home, November 25, 1999.

      She was born June 25, 1906, in Elwood, Utah, to Joseph William and Mary Cole Francom. Two sisters, Myrle and Gladys and six brothers, Edgar, Eugene, Dee, Glenn, Wayne and Farrel, have preceded her in death. Virgil and his wife, Mildred live in St. George, Utah.

      Delma married Dale Laub Saunders on April 15, 1925, later sealed in the Logan Temple. Dale was killed in an accident in 1940. She married LeRoy J. Bott, Sr., July 18, 1945 and became the stepmother of five children.

      She has 16 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

      In 1954, Roy and Delma served a mission for the L.D.S. Church in New Zealand, and loved working with the Maori people. They lived in Stockton, California and in 1962 built a home in Santa Rosa, California. Roy died in June, 1970. She married Cleon C. Forsyth on October 11, 1980 and became the stepmother of two children. Cleon died in 1986. In 1993 she moved to Midvale.

      She leaves a great posterity of children gained through marriage, many others who call her "Mother" and "Grandma", and numerous friends made through years of service to others.

      Funeral service at 12 noon, Thursday, December 2, 1999 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive. Viewing on December 1 from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.

      Donations, if desired, may be made to Harmony Home Health and Hospice.
